terms of use and privacy
BY ENROLLING IN THE SITE YOU ARE AGREEING WITH THE FOLLOWING:
First and foremost, storemychords.com does NOT SHARE ANY OF YOUR DATA with any
third parties or services. The only items captured at enrollment are username,
password and email address. After enrollment, it is the user's choice what data is stored
in their musicbooks and is uploaded by the user directly.
Your username is your unique id in the system and must be unique.
Passwords are never seen or stored in clear text,
they are immediately hashed and cannot be reverse-engineered, this is why
a user can only reset their password and cannot retrieve it.
A user's email address is never shared and is never visible from the site by any other
user of the
system. A new email can be updated in the system by a its user, however, it is never presented
on the site. Email is used in a limited manner for the following purposes:
- Sending a user a new password
- Sending a user their username
- Sending occasional notices out to users
- Sending a user a response to a support request
Email is not used for anything outside of these above actions.
A user's music uploaded and stored on the site is NOT VISIBLE by ANY OTHER USER in the
system. It is for use solely by the user responsible for uploading the data.
No other access to your stored music exists for any standard
users of the system.
storemychords.com is a free web site provided as a tool to consumers who wish
to utilize its features. storemychords.com is in NO WAY responsible for ANYTHING
that is stored in the system by its users (a user is anyone who establishes
an account in the system to store data). Users can save their own work at their own
discretion. storemychords.com has no way of monitoring the source, content or restrictions
of any of the data stored in the system. Users are solely responsible for ALL data in the
system that they upload into their account.
Users are expected to setup an account for personal use only. Users should not share
accounts with others. While the system is created utilizing one login and one email per unique
user in the system, storemychords.com is in no way responsible for users of the system sharing
their credentials with others. There is no way to monitor for this and storemychords.com is
in no way responsible for mis-use of accounts in the system.
storemychords.com is in no way liable for any mis-use of the system that causes data-corruption
or data loss. The system utilizes a very robust process of monitoring for mis-use and also regularly backs
up data, however, storemychords.com is a free service and takes no responsibility for any lost data in the
system, if for some reason it may occur.
storemychords.com is in no way liable for system outtages or downtime. While the system
typically should be a 24/7 service available to users, it is a free service and there are no SLA's binding
any responsibility to specific up-time and availability. We'll do our best to provide a great service,
but NO guarantees.
storemychords.com reserves the right to REMOVE ANY USER at ANY TIME from the system for ANY REASON.
These reasons would normally be expected to be mis-use, however, these reasons for removing
a user are solely decided by storemychords.com and no background, proof or reasoning needs to be
provided to do so. It is completely at storemychords.com's discretion to manage, edit and remove users
from the system. This can be done with or without warning to the users. It would normally be expected
to warn an individual of certain types of accidental mis-use, however, this is decided by
storemychords.com.
This site may change the Agreement from time to time. Your continued use of this site
after such notice constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.
This site reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently,
this site or parts of this site without notice to you. You agree that this site shall not be
liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of this site.
You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and
regulations in your use of this site, and agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access
to other computer systems or networks through this site.
You also agree not to interfere with the use and enjoyment of the Service by other
members. storemychords.com retains the right to keep or delete members as its personnel
determines fit. storemychords.com and it's partners/employees
will and can delete anyone for any reason at any time.
You agree not to resell your membership or any services of this site.
You agree not to transmit any unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy invading, abusive,
threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.
You agree not to transmit any material that violates the rights of another, including
but not limited to the intellectual property rights of another.
You agree that this site may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your
access to all or part of this site for any reason, including, without limitation,
breach of this Agreement or any subsequent modifications, or attempted assignment
of your account by you. You acknowledge and agree that termination may be effected
without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that this site may immediately
delete files in your account and bar any further access thereto.
This site shall not be liable to you or any third party for the termination
of your membership or any claims related to the termination of your membership.
Any suspected fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity may be grounds for
termination of your account and may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Should you object to any terms and conditions of this Agreement, or any subsequent changes
to this Agreement, or become dissatisfied with the Service in any way, your only recourse
is to immediately: discontinue and terminate your membership with the Service as stated
in the help section of the site after signing up.
This site does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content,
advertising, products, or other materials on or available from third parties.
You agree not to hold this site liable for any loss or damage of any sort
incurred as the result of the presence, availability or non-availability of
the advertisers, partners, vendors or other third parties available on or
through this site, or as the result of any dealings with such parties,
including but not limited to attendance at events advertised or purchase or
use of goods or services offered on or through this site.
storemychords.com is not responsible for the availability of external sites, linking
or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content,
advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.
You further acknowledge and agree that storemychords.com shall not be responsible or
liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused
by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such Content, goods or services
